Google Adsense for Domains finally available for UK

Went and checked on my AdSense account today and for "AdSense for domain" is available!!!

Heard it was going to be available to the rest of the world, but didn't expect it to be that quick.

AdSense kept it quite, no big announcement.

Anyway I will definitely try it out, wish they have better layout thought.

Not available in your account? well I know for UK users it is available.

Click AdSense setup, and you should see it there.

Unable to process purchase error on Godaddy

Some of you might experience this problem while check out on Godaddy.

"Unable to process purchase" unable to solve it myself I contacted Godaddy's Support service.

Hi Is there a problem with the checkout system, because when I click confirm order I get this : "Unable to process purchase. Please click here to go back and confirm that your information is correct." I had check my information, and it's all correct. Regards Takwa Without an answer for 12hrs, and as I am getting desperate to renew my domains, I had decided to call America, to my surprise they have got a helpline with a UK number. So I called up, although the two customer service had no idea what's the problem, they forwarded the problem to the technical guys. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way. Problem solved, don't know if it was because of my e-mails or phone calls, still don't know what was the problem. I point I am trying to get at is not that they have problems, as I accept most companies would at some point. I just doesn't like their email support, where the first person just answered my question, without even checking out my problem. The phone call was very supportive, although I doubt they helped, as I noticed their knowledge of the Godaddy's system is generally very low, but I gave me a feeling that at least it is going somewhere. I greatly support their phone in system, 100% positive psychological feedback, all big reputable companies should have both phone and email support, giving their customers assurance when needed.

Way round Godaddy forcing privacy renewal

As it has been a year on now my domains that had privacy free by Godaddy is up for renewals.

I have got around a hundred domain to renew this month, so I did and to my surprise the price doubled! why? because the renewal is fixed on Godaddy's checkout and there's no way to take it off, getting a bit worried thinking maybe I will have to drop most of them.

Then I did some research and found nobody has the answer, so I did some experiment and worked it out. Here it is :

First you have to cancel your privacy registration with domainsbyproxy.com 

they would have sent you an email when you reg the domain, giving you your id, but as most people like me would have deleted the email.

Don't worry if you did, because all you have to do is to click forgot id on the log in page on domainsbyproxy.com and you can retrieve your id by entering the domain name, and they will send an email to you again.

After you cancelled the privacy registration with them, on Godaddy's checkout privacy reg will not be forced on you.

Google keywords ranking in terms of words

Many has asked me does the order of your words in the domain affect your ranking on search engines?

Well I will use my DomainGeo.com for an example in rankings.

Using Google Search:

Geo Domain - ranked 33

Domain Geo - ranked 1

Using Yahoo Search:

Geo Domain - ranked 7

Domain Geo - ranked 1

Conclusion is it does, but maybe not by a high margin, on average on a low demand keyword it will be a page difference. 

The difference will be bigger if there's a higher demand for the keywords, this is explained by more websites using it and they're higher ranking than you.

It's still better to get the domain that is in the right order, but if it's not possible it's a nice alternative, although most will have little resale value.
